Lindsey Wright doesn’t back down

On Wednesday and Thursday I attended the Tolton Catholic High School girls’ soccer practices. They are practicing for the state semifinal that is taking place on Friday, June 5th.

The feature story I did was all about a sophomore that has been the leading scorer for her team the last two years.  This season she has scored a total of 29 goals.

With only one junior and 5 sophomores, Lindsey is going to be stepping up in a leadership role. Seven seniors have graduated and will be leaving the team with the conclusion of the state championship.  It will be important for some of those sophomores, especially Lindsey to be stepping up and taking leadership roles.

Check out the feature story I did on Lindsey for the Columbia Missourian.

Look for my next story on the semifinal game Tolton will be playing against Trinity Catholic in Blue Springs.

You can also follow my live tweets or the Columbia Missourian snapchat (comissourian) during the game.
